Rafael Angel, a native of Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico, holds a rich cultural background that greatly influences his artistry. From a young age, his passion for the performing arts was evident, and he began his formal training in acting at the renowned José Julián Acosta Theatre Arts School.

Rafael's first foray into the world of acting came when he landed a leading role in the critically acclaimed play, “The Transition of Doodle Pequeño.” The play was staged at the prestigious David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, marking his debut into the professional theater scene. Since that remarkable beginning, Rafael has been a part of over 8 productions, showcasing his talent in various venues across the United States and his native Puerto Rico.

Following his initial successes, Rafael made the decision to further his education and hone his skills. He attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, where he studied Musical Theatre. This education has served to broaden his versatility and depth as a performer.

In addition to his acting career, Rafael is an artist who is constantly looking for ways to expand his creative horizons. He is currently working on his own music and content creation, two ventures that he is very excited about.

Rafael's talents are not limited to the stage. He made his film debut starring in the short film “Crisálida,” which was showcased at the Caribbean Cinemas of Fine Arts in Miramar. After taking a three-year hiatus from the entertainment industry to serve in the Army, Rafael is now returning with renewed vigour and focus. He is more committed than ever to continue nurturing, with sincerity and warmth, his acting career and reaching new heights of success.
